Cool. Do you have any finished websites or products that you have worked on that you would like to share with us?

I am especially interested in the branding aspect of your business. I feel branding is very important for the future. I believe it is the only way businesses will be able to stand out and compete. I always make that the first step in building a new business for myself.
  5. A few of the websites we have done:

Fuse: Home | Fuse Design & Build
    NEG: Home | Nrg.com
Kennington: The Kennington, 60 Camberwell New Road, London, SE5 0RS | Home
Super City Connections: Home | Supercity Connections (he did the diagrams not me!)
Mine: Home | Sugar Cube Productions
All Four: Home | Air-Conditioning & FREE HOT WATER
    TellTrail: http://www.telltail.com/

As for products, they normally get delivered directly to the clients so I don't have many samples or images of them. Just the stock images really.

Awesome! Great projects and nice professional work. Thanks for sharing.

I will have to bookmark your Sugar Cube website to keep it handy in case I run into anyone who needs these types of services. I'm always bookmarking and saving something I found online that I usually always end up passing along to someone else that I meet online who needs help with something.:D
  8. Keep us in mind for the printing and promotional products as well!

We have done printing for: Zoho, M&S, North London Credit Union, Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologies, just to name a few.

Hi Kye, nice to meet you, I'm very impressed by your website, and also have a couple of questions regarding the printing services you offer.
Are you directly printing products for customers or do you contract that work out to specialist printing firms ? I had heard that printing costs have fallen drastically in recent years with the increase in specialist printers, do you find that there are plenty of clients in need of this type of service, or is it an untimately shrinking industry ? Do you use special printers to supply these services and if so, what are the specialist tasks that they can complete, and what was the approximate initial outlay for your company ?
  11. Hello Steve,

A majority of the printing work goes to specialist firms. We make sure that we are 100% happy with the products and quality before we use them, and make sure you get our fantastic customer service. This allows us to split the work to different companies to make sure that you always get the best prices as well.

Printing costs did have a massive drop about 10 years ago but have been relatively steady recently. Although the costs in small print shops and online digital printers have gone up by a fair wack due to the huge cost of ink and the relatively slow print speeds of the machines. We still use litho print which is the old print method. It has high set up costs by the actual print costs are a lot less per unit. It does mean we have a high minimum on some items (1000 flyers) but we are normally a lot cheaper on these numbers.

Printing is still a strong industry. Businesses still need business cards and flyers. Posters will always be used to advertise events and services. Theres always trade shows to provide and small businesses just starting out. The big companies like Tesco print millions of flyers to put infront of the tills to advertise their other services.

I don't see printing going out of fashion any time soon.

As for internal printing, we have a few pieces of equipment on premises like our poster printer, sublimation printer, and ID card printer. They are used for providing the small runs that our suppliers won't do.

Most of my business is about knowing the right people to make sure that my customers can get the best products done.

It saves my customers having to do all the leg work finding suppliers and checking to make sure they can do a good job. Most of them are trade only as well so unless you are a marketing company reselling products they won't talk to you. But those companies give us the best prices as they don't need to spend anything on marketing as we do all that for them!
