I know someone who has a secret alixir that he says helps grow hair. He wants to paten it but he told me recently that he found out that he would have to list EVERY SINGLE ingredient when filing...is this true?

I don't really know anything about patents but it wouldn't surprise me.

I'd suggest that your friend talk to a patent lawyer, maybe.

That's what I was thinking. They'd have to know the original composition to know whether or not someone had copied it.

Yes, he will have to list every single ingredient for a patent...and also if he wants to be approved by the FDA.
