You can easily form your own LLC by going on line to the Secretary of State in your state and obtaining the forms to do so. Free instructions for your state can be found in the "References" file at the BOX at the right margin of my site: SMALL BUSINESS FEDERAL GOVERNMENT CONTRACTING ("Smalltofeds"). If you have more than one owner ("Member" in LLC parlance), you should also consider an operating agreement. You will also find a sample operating agreement in the file referenced above. Feel free to use it, or modify it to suit your business.
I just wanted to add my own two cents here. You could go to an attorney or other online source to help you file but for most businesses just doing it online at the Secretary of State for your particular state works best. It's simple to use and a lot of the forms can now be submitted online. Unless your business requires a lot of members and/or a lot of complicated rules I would stay away from using an attorney or online service.
