Wel I have heard a few application like Quickbook, tally, Myob, Accpac etc that are used to maintain accounts and invoices. Once you update the invoice the rest is done automated and you could get your Statements readily made for you

• Waveapps - For Invoicing + it is free

The other two are good for freelancing businesses because you can also time track and show proof of time completed on the projects. They also integrate with Quickbooksonline so you are safe there.

Bills.com is pretty dope.
The name itself sounds a little danky, but it's a great piece of invoicing software.

Blinksale is a pretty easy standalone invoicing app that is inexpensive and intuitive.
