How to land public speaking gigs

Ian, I see you do a lot of public speaking events etc how do you go about getting those?

for me it happened on accident and I want to thank my blog for it. I grew my brand online very well and I was very well known in just the affiliate marketing space. the blog itself is fully responsible for my speaking engagements because of the information I put out. I told raw information and didnt care if I disrupt some people in the industry. I provided also amazing value even when I was just starting out. I gave case studies on failed campaigns rather than successful campaigns. I then eventually got noticed by the content and was contacted to talk at an event. It is all about branding yourself and the information you put out.
