How important is 'good art' in the business atmosphere?

As a professional artist and designer, I always wondered how lines, textures and creativity in general could contribute towards the viability or general well being in a business/financial environment.

Interesting question. I know nothing about that area but I would imagine there is a connection, both for customers and for employees.

I think creativity, when blended seamlessly with utility, can help a product stand out and make them more attractive to customers.

We all like to believe that we think before we buy. But ultimately, what pushes us over the edge and make that purchase is attraction. Attraction is created through art.

Art adds value. And smart marketing often presents it as such. You're not just buying a product because it works. You've buying it because it adds to your sense of well-being.
