I'm interested to hear what you suggest as the best home-business write-offs to get the most out of your taxes, and get most back from them after business expenses.

If you are in a specific home business or other type of small business, please be sure to specify that, along with the state or country it is for.

Although incorporation in different states and laws of different countries will change some considerations and availabilities, it will be helpful to people who live in your area or country to know of them here.

    • any portion of the home dedicated solely to business
    • all business related calls can be prorated off from monthly statements
    • a portion of utilities can be prorated for areas of the home dedicated to business
all other business related expenses, of course, that are born to the business like accounting, travel, entertainment, office supplies, etc.
