My question would be, who watches these?

I may watch part of a Facebook live video if it's someone I know (personally or as a media person) but even then I rarely watch to the end. I find them irritating.

Facebook live videos from people I don't know I never watch.

If you want to do video marketing, I'd suggest regular video formats, not the live format.

That's a valid point. Promoting a Facebook live event is a
good idea.
In the beginning, the videos only go to people you know.
In time the spread increases. Assuming you provide value
your friends share your videos with others.
