I've been using GoDaddy for years for all my domains. I'm not a fan of theirt hosting but the domain registration part of their business has always worked well for me.

Yes, I also use GoDaddy. We used 1&1.com in the past but have switched everything over to GoDaddy for domain registration.

I like name cheap, their prices are really good and so is their customer service.

I've had a domain with HostGator for three years, no problem there, either.

I've published a couple different websites in the past, and because I used Wix to create them, I also used Wix to purchase domains. It's incredibly easy and they email you when your domain is set to renew.

I go with namecheap as well, their service is really good and customer service is great as they always succeed every time you ask a question and are unsure they will help you and go the extra mile. They will also set up everything for you, so you don't have to.

With GoDaddy, you have to differentiate between GoDaddy as a registrar and GoDaddy as a host.

As a registrar, I've used them for years and I've never had a complaint.

I've never personally used them or hosting but I know a couple of people who did. Not a stellar experience.

To be fair, I understand that they have been working to improve that side of their business.
