Do you do your own bookkeeping or do you pay someone to do it for you?

    Do my own.
Good to manage everything yourself though it can be overwhelming at times. Keeps you on top of what's really going on with your money.

Oursouce it. It's better if you outsource your bookkeeping. Because you can able to save a lot of time by this way. You know time is money.

Over the long haul, your business could be influenced adversely by passing up a major opportunity even the smallest of records. You can take assistance from specialists in the field and let them deal with your business accounts without you needing to trouble in any capacity. You should go for Outsource services.

It really depends. If you are capable of doing it yourself and are good at it, then you might as well do it from home. If not, then you should hire someone who's more skilled to do it for you.

  13. Half and half.

I keep records and logs of all invoices and their status in a spreadsheet so I can keep ontop of who has paid and who hasn't. All the more complicated stuff is done by a professional.

Depends, really. If yours is a relatively small business, and you want to be hands-on with it, then you can do your own bookkeeping. Several Chinese businesspeople from where I am usually handle their businesses by themselves, and seeing how successful they are, I think there's some merit to it. But when your business becomes too large for you to handle by yourself, then of course outsourcing would be the most efficient way to go.

I keep track of and record on a monthly basis for previous month. However, I have someone else filing my taxes for me.

I outsource it all now, it's reasonably cheap and I know it's accurate!

Outsource to someone who is reliable that you can trust. Best to find a professional who can not only do journal entries but analyze what is happening in your business and help you recognize opportunities. Outsource is better, but not helpful if you just hand over information and never strategize with the person looking at your numbers.
