Blog on Email Marketing

Hello everyone, hope everyone is having a nice 2018 so far.

I have a question, as part of an email marketing campaign I'm setting up I plan to send different blogs (from my website) to the different lists I do have, I'm now wondering what is best, send a link to the blog? O send the blog content directly on the email?

Any suggestions or feedback are appreciated.

The best is to take the first few lines of the blog (catchy / interesting part of the para) and the rest link directly to that para.

I prefer the first one. The mail services do not always skip such messages

Another vote here for @VirtualGlobalPhone 's advice for emailing a snippet with a link to the whole post.

In my opinion, if you send the whole article in the email, they have little to no reason to go to your blog. That won't increase your traffic or exposure.

A catchy blog should start with a catchy intro. This is, as a result, also the best thing to use for your email campaign- unless of course you can find a cool quote within the doc that once isolated is quite intriguing...

Agreed - choose a catchy subject line and intice readers through to your blog. Formatting on email can look bad, and people won't want to read to the end.

on top mention what is the industry of your blog topics get a catchy image a good heading some pre text and link to the mail. include repeat the process couple of times and attach multiple blogs in same email.
Design mail using sendgrid or mailchimp send a test mail to yourself and make edits.
