Hi there! I am currently a freelance writer seeking to put up a tech startup. Renewable energy is one of my interests and I would love to hear about your experiences in going green. In particular your experiences in using solar energy powered products. Looking forward to your great insights!

Hi @smithereens , welcome to EntrepreneurFix! Great to have you with us.

I've recently developed an interest in lead gen for this industry. It's solid and growing.

Depending how you plan a tech startup, maybe crowdfunding could be of help.

That's only really viable if you have a very very large following already in most cases. Unless you're the next BIG thing.

I disagree. If one takes the time to put together a proper prospectus and pro forma for a product, service, or other venture and present it to receptive individuals in the growth market and they think it could play to the market well, they'll have plenty of angels willing to throw a core investment together in a matter of days or weeks to bring to a crowdfunding source.

I feel it's short sighted to discount the possibilities with crowdfunding. Many small and seemingly insignificant projects have taken off quite nicely using this model for aspiring ideas.
