Adsense alternatives for semi-adult websites

I need help locating an advertising network for a blog that I can no longer use AdSense on because it is deemed too "adult". But I don't want some kind of porny ad service.

The blog is for women and it discusses pop culture, feminism, literature and sex/gender issues. So it uses some sexual language mostly in a literal sense, and sometimes humorously. But there is nothing really explicit and certainly no nude or provocative pictures.

AdSense was working pretty well for me given the modest traffic (about 200 a day). But since I was cut off I have not been able to find a decent alternative.

This is unbelievable, what you are describing is not even a risque or soft core type of porn thing but a site with some text with adult content and AdSense decides to cut you out for that. I don't understand this prudish attitude, what you are describing is not even NSFW material. What if you were actually using this explicit content in an informative way?

You can try ExoClick, don't go to an actual "adult" network given your audience because a porn ad is surely the last thing that they are going to be expecting from your site.

My husband is an amateur writer with writings of almost any kind, from science fiction to semi-porn. That last genre used to be a hit in the local sites (written in Filipino) so he ventured into writing sexy stories in English. However, he couldn't find a good venue, one that allows posting and also shares revenue. He's got quite a lot of stories already and had a good run in the local sites although the reaction is not that many because they were in English.

I don't think there are many substitutes that can rival Adsense but I have come across a few risqué sites that have affiliate banners to dating sites so you could maybe look into that as a replacement though I don't know how profitable they can get since I don't have any experience with those personally.
