Morning everyone,
As the title states I am a young, early twenties, inspiring entrepreneur from the UK. I say entrepreneur like I have actually made that first step into entrepreneurship. Unfortunately I haven't and it is driving me crazy...
A little about me
I am extremely ambitious. Like extremely. I spend hours, every night, looking for that perfect execution or perfect starting idea. Also I am a super fast learner and have many skills in different industries mainly being design, leadership and analysis so when it comes to grinding down to my passions - I am lost.
I have a passion for being ambitious... But how can I profit from that? I only get a thrill from developing and helping others to do so. I have basic knowledge of how to set up websites and create logos too which helps a lot for online business, I guess?
To note, my career i going well but a career just doesn't cut it for me anymore. It's not even about the money it's just about the challenge and thrill of being a business owner/entrepreneur.
What I need help with
I need to know what I can do to take that first step to becoming an entrepreneur in a business I will continue to thrive in:
Thanks
- Being an ambitious generalist, where can I start with this?
- What can I do to start monetizing myself, on a small scale? (To build up funds)
- I have a great idea, like everyone, but I require funds to even get started with this. Where do you think will be able to offer me funds or mentoring being so young? (In the UK)
- How can a young entrepreneur who has no contacts or friends who are as ambitious as me actually find these like minded people? (In the UK)
- Just general advice. Like I mentioned above, I am a generalist at the moment and I am lost in finding what I can do to continue to develop my knowledge. If any one from experience in my footsteps please point me in the right direction? (I don't mean hold my hand and walk me to my first £1m, unless you're an investor)
Please do not take this as a profile to advertise my skills, this is a genuine cry for help (And I don't usually cry I like to be quite masculine when I can).
Apologies if I have been quite demanding or unprofessional. I am new to networking with entrepreneurs online and others in the same position but I would like to know more.
I've noticed I may have asked for a lot of different areas and I'm not expecting you all to be able to answer these haha
It's brilliant to have signed up to a great network of people (Judging by the posts and press this site has had recently) and I hope you are willing to share some advice and tactics to add benefit to others reading this in the same stage as myself
Kindest Regards,
Mac

The most important thing for you right now is t get out into the world and find every means to meet new people and develop relationships, get an internship and get some first hand business experience, get more intimate with your interests and get them well defined.Just general advice.
