    I totally agree. With pick & drop templates, it's a no brainer.

    Make them myself, but if more complex features are needed then I give time consuming projects to my programmer or designer so I can carry on with my other stuff I have going on.

    I couldn't afford a website so rolled up my sleeves and learnt how to. Its only a WP site but still saved me money and I learnt a new skill.

    @Deon Christie, WIX is very horrible.., You are made to believe you can do it all by yourself and also that you have a choice to choose from the various templates... You would be highly disappointed.
    If you are looking for a great Responsive website at very affordable price, please do contact me... Thanks.

    My experience with Wix is the Total Opposite. Sorry to hear it didn't work for you. I have 4 Websites with Wix, receiving constant visitors. I find Wix to work best for me, out of the Three Sites I currently use. This is one of my websites with wix - http://deon620.wix.com/internet-affiliate

    Glad to know you are happy with Wix.
    We develop custom CMS or other opensource like Wordpress etc....

    Didn't know about that K, I'll have to look into that. I have
    four websites with Wix, and honestly hope it isn't. I'd be
    pissed if all that work was for nothing, sorry but there's
    no other way to say this! Thanks for letting me know...

    >>You may look into the terms and conditions of any free website. Your work is their property just as wordpress.com or any free blogs. You do not own anything on the site.

    @ron nats
    Wordpress is an opensource script unlike Wix where it is hosted on their servers.
    Wordpress script can be downloaded and be customized to create our website as per our requirements unlike Wix where you have very limited options. There are several hundreds of thousands of wordpress plugins that are contributed by the community and is growing day by day; thus giving you the ability to seamlessly integrate almost any module to build a robust website.
    Sorry, if I'm giving you the impression that I'm marketing WP ....
    just that I wanted to tell you that Wix is no match for WP when it comes to custom web development..
    Please do not hesitate to post your views and we can always have a healthy discussion and welcome everyone's opinion and suggestions :)
